The Best Girls Trips Destinations for Summer 2025

Feeling the warm ocean around me as I swim off the coast of Barcelona, or having drinks in the Danube river, my girls trips have been more than wild nights out, they have been fundamental to my early adulthood. Whether its seeing my priorities change from late nights out to lazy mornings in, between trips or two, five or solo trips- the ‘hot girl summers’ of my life have been transformative. And this is what I’m grateful for as I sip on my latte, scrolling through Pinterest for this years inspiration, I find it hard to choose just one. Whether its laid back tourist spot or an all out popping nightly rager, I’ve narrowed down this years most promising girls trips spots.

How I choose the best girl’s destinations:

This list has been carefully selected based on tried and true destinations, while some may vary according to aesthetics and activities, this is done to ensure there is a perfect destination on this list for everyone!

Barcelona, Spain

Filled with culture and colour, Barcelona will capture your heart (if you just remember to pack sunscreen) while temperatures might get hot, I see this as a positive and an opportunity to take a dip in its ocean. Between the Parc du Guell and the Gothic Quarter, the city is incredibly walkable with a little help from local buses, which are incredibly easy to use. Barcelona is also very tourist packed and known partly for its Erasmus student exchange so expect to meet everyone from different walks of life! The club scene including the world famous Pacha is just by the beach and includes several other clubs like Shocko (get there early to avoid queues!) For a perfect day out, I recommend a late brunch in Ugot Bruncherie and then some sightseeing in central including the famous Sagrada Familia, then hopping the bus to see Park Guell before changing for a late dinner in the Gothic Quarter and checking out the Irish Pub in the main street and getting a cab to Pacha and dancing the night away!

Ibiza, Spain

If dancing the night away is your main goal then Ibiza is the right place for you! Known for its gorgeous beaches, party hostels and of course lots of singles looking to party Ibiza is definitely a once (or twice!) in a lifetime experience. Spend your days soaking up the sun by the beach and your nights dancing away by the coast, Ibiza is the perfect place for a girl’s trip looking to unwind! Be sure to bring your sunscreen and expect to come back with memories you’ll be laughing about for a lifetime! Definitely a bonding experience, I recommend staying in hostels (they’re all social in Ibiza) right by the beach, look for hostels with lots of activities and bar crawls for an unforgettable trip!

Milan, Italy

Definitely for the girlies who love all things sightseeing and shopping, Milan (while a little more on the expensive side) is definitely and unforgettable trip. Look forward to long sunset dinners with your friends and days out filled with endless shopping, Milan has something for everyone. While it may not be the beach holiday everyone wishes for, Milan has tons of its own charm like the Milan Cathedral and just a short train ride away, the must see Lake Como!

I recommend staying in central Milan (tons of great hostels can be found quite cheap here!) and this makes the city much more walkable with lots to see and enjoy!

Budapest, Hungary

A widely underrated city, Budapest is beautiful and perfect for a girls trip! I recommend a brunch in Budapest city centre before heading over to St Stephen’s Basilica and the Fisherman’s Bastion for an unforgettable day of sightseeing! Then have dinner along the Danube before boarding one its famous party boats (which ends in a club in the early hours of the morning!) Then another must do on your Budapest list is its famous thermal baths, beautiful and relaxing, it’s the perfect afternoon activity before ending the night again with a trip to Budapest’s famous Ruins bar! With lots to see and do, Budapest is the perfect getaway destination for the girls trip that want a jam packed schedule of fun! As always, I recommend a hostel in the centre of town (preferably close to the Ruins bar;)

Lisbon, Portugal

Last but not least on my list is the wonderful city of Lisbon, known for its stunning architecture and gorgeous attractions, its sure to be an unforgettable girls trip!

A perfect day would start with a long brunch in the city centre before hopping off to see the Castelo de São Jorge as well as the Lisbon Cathedral, before indulging in a long dinner by the sea and bar hopping along the coast.
